FAQ'S
What’s social technology?
Social technology means any internet, mobile or gaming software that
lets you connect and communicate with other people. Examples are text
messaging, social networking (e.g. Facebook, MySpace, Bebo), blogging,
and so on.
Where does the project go next?
We’d like the winners of this year’s awards to inspire a new generation of projects. We’re looking at how we can use Enterprise Week and Chain Reaction
(November 2008) to get people together to take ideas forward and are
speaking to a number of potential partners about how this might take
shape. Anyone interested in getting involved in the next phase of
Catalyst should email Dan at Make Your Mark.
What have the winners gained from this experience?
We hope that they have gained positive press coverage and the
opportunity to network with like-minded folk, investors and thought
leaders within the worlds of technology and social action. What’s more
they got a rather fine trophy made out of recycled metal!
Can I use your logo?
Yes, you can download our logo to use on your own site or materials if
you like, in order to tell your users that you’ve entered or support
the Catalyst Awards. If you use it on your website, please include a
link to us. We’d like even better if you could let us know too!
