When you enter the Catalyst Awards, we ask you to send us some personal
information. We also collect information anonymously when you visit the
Catalyst Awards website (ukcatalystawards.co.uk). This policy explains
how we collect and use your personal information about you and how you
can update and change it.
Who we are and how to contact us
- Your
information is held by Polecat Ltd (“Polecat”) as the organising agent
for the Catalyst Awards. In this policy words such as “we”, “our”,
“us”, etc, means Polecat. You can contact us by writing to us at

Scope
- This
policy applies to information collected in connection with the Catalyst
Awards by Polecat Ltd. It does not apply to information that you send
to anyone else. The information may be collected online or by some
other method, for example a telephone call, letter, or through a
written form.
What information we collect
- Typically
we ask you for the information listed on the Catalyst Awards website
entry form. We may ask for, or you may send us, additional information
relevant to your entry or enquiry.
- We may collate together information that you give us on different occasions into a single record.
- If
your entry is short-listed, we will ask you to provide a short video
pitch for your entry which will be made available publicly.
- We
use cookies and other technologies to track your interactions with the
Catalyst website. This information is collected anonymously. We do this
whether or not you send us any personal information, and it is not
linked to any personal information you do send us.
What we do with your information
- We
will use your information to administer the Catalyst Awards. This may
involve contacting you to inform you of the outcome of your entry,
request additional information, or other relevant communication.
- We
may also use your information for statistical analysis of the Catalyst
Awards entries. This will not involve the disclosure of your personal
information to anyone else. No individual will be identifiable in the
results of the analysis.
- We will delete your
information when we believe that it is no longer useful for these
purposes, or sooner if you ask us to do so.
Who can see your information
- We will disclose your information to the judging panel, as they will need to see it in order to judge your entry.
- We
will share relevant parts of your information with the supporters,
sponsors and partners of the Catalyst Awards. They may also use the
information to contact you directly. The copy of your information that
they have will be subject to their privacy policy. The current list of
supporters, sponsors and partners is shown on the Catalyst Awards
website. The list may be updated from time to time.
- We will make public announcements that include the names and brief descriptions of the short-listed entries and winners.
- We
may contract with suppliers to undertake processing or storage of the
information on our behalf. These suppliers will not have the right to
retain or use your information for their own purposes, and will be
restricted to using your information only as described in this policy
on our behalf.
- Due to the global nature of the
internet, using the internet to collect and process personal data
necessarily involves the transmission of data on an international
basis. Additionally, we may work with companies that have operations in
other countries. Therefore, your information may be transmitted to or
stored in other countries, including countries where data protection
legislation is different than in the UK and may offer you less
protection.
- We will not sell, rent, loan or give
your information to anyone else. However we will disclose it if in our
reasonable belief:

may change your information, confirm what information we hold about
you, request deletion of your information, ask questions about this
policy, or change your consent for use of information by contacting us
